Town Treasurer

The Town of Davenport Treasurer is an elected official of the town, elected for a four (4) year term.  Listed below are just a few of the responsibilities.

• Maintain accounts and books to show where and from what source all monies paid to him have been derived and to whom and when any monies have been paid;
• Deposit daily funds received for the town in depositories as the board may designate; and
• Have such other powers, duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance.

The Treasurer's books and accounts shall at all times be subject to examination by the board.
